Become a Be Deutsch Beta Tester
Help improve Be Deutsch A1 Foundations before public release. The Android app offers 12 units and 60 structured German lessons, with vocabulary, listening, practice, quizzes and offline learning after installation.

Help us understand the beginner experience.
English-speaking adults beginning German—including migrants, international students and workers—are welcome. You will need an Android device, a Google account and time to try the app and share feedback.
You can join the tester group now and follow the Google Play steps below.
How to join
Three steps to start testing.
Use the same Google account for the group, the testing invitation and Google Play.
Join the group first. The testing invitation alone does not give every visitor access.

Open the Be Deutsch Testers Google Group and join using the Google account you use on Google Play.

With the same Google account, open the testing invitation and select Become a tester.
Open Google Play TestingInstall through Google Play
Follow the installation link on Google's confirmation page. Install Be Deutsch from Google Play on your compatible Android device. Keep your group membership and tester enrollment active while participating.
If you cannot access the test
Check your account and eligibility.
Check that the same Google account is selected in Google Groups, the testing invitation and Google Play. Allow time for membership and access changes to take effect. Google Play also checks country and device eligibility.
Contact support@bedeutsch.de if you still cannot continue, or if you are already an internal tester and need help switching tracks.
Registration and privacy
Joining and opting in take place on Google's services. Group members can see other members and group conversations; managers can see member email addresses. This website has no registration form and does not create a Be Deutsch account.

Include the lesson or screen name, your app version, what you expected and what happened. Please do not send passwords or sensitive personal information.
