Email supportGetting started
Be Deutsch A1 Foundations organizes German grammar, vocabulary and reading into five units and 34 structured lessons. Each lesson combines explanation with practice and a check of understanding.
You can study at your own pace. The app keeps your lesson progress and review activity on your Android device; there is no Be Deutsch account or cloud sync.
Learning and lesson help
Work through the units in order or return to an earlier lesson when you need another explanation.
Guided practice introduces the task step by step; independent practice gives you room to apply it yourself.
Lesson quizzes and unit checkpoints help you see what you understand and what needs another look.
My Mistakes keeps incorrect answers available as focused review material.
Offline use
Core lessons, practice, quizzes, checkpoints, My Mistakes and progress tracking work offline after installation. Your learning records remain on the device unless Android backup restores them.
Progress and My Mistakes
Progress tracking shows completed learning activity. My Mistakes turns incorrect answers into focused review material. These records are local and are not synced to Be Deutsch.
Common troubleshooting
Close and reopen the app. If the issue continues, restart the Android device and try again.
Check that you are using the same device and app installation. Progress is stored locally and is not synced to a Be Deutsch account.
Local progress can be removed when app storage is cleared or the app is uninstalled. Android backup settings may affect whether app data is restored.
Email support with the lesson or screen name, what you expected and what happened. Do not include passwords or sensitive personal information.
